1 - Gather your materials and tools

• Any knit fabric - we chose Fleece terry

• 3/8 inch wide Drawstring: 2 1/2 yards

• 1 & 1/2 inch wide Elastic: 33-46 inches

• 1 & 1/2 inch wide Elastic: 23-26 inches

• Thread

2 - Print and cut

There are 3 printing options:

• Small printer - Slow Learn how >

• Medium printer - Fast Learn how >

3 - Cut out the fabric pieces Learn how >

Seam and hem allowances are already included.

4 - Label your pieces

For clarity, we made the wrong side of our fabric darker.

5 - Hem the pocket

• Use 3/4 inch hem allowance

• We chose a single-fold hem and finished them with a stretch stitch What should I choose?

6 - Attach the pocket

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

7 - Sew the inseam

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

8 - Sew the crotch seams

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

9 - Sew the pocket seams

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

10 - Sew the outseam & pocket seams

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

11 - Create the cuffs

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

12 - Attach the cuffs

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

13 - Insert the elastics

• We chose to secure the elastic with tunnel stretch stitch

14 - Create the waistband

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

15 - Attach the waistband

• Use 3/8 inch seam allowance

• We chose plain seams with a stretch stitch and finished them with an overcast stitch

16 - Insert the elastic

• We chose to secure the elastic with tunnel stretch stitch

17 - Insert the drawstring

18 - Do a little dance!

Be a pro! Trim any excess thread and allowances, then, give it a good iron.
